Today I had a rare Friday off so I packed a lunch and the kids up and we all went to the zoo. A lot of the animals were in their dens sleeping or trying to stay cool. But we did see the giraffes, rhinos, prairie dogs, and the penguins were all out swimming. The kids had fun watching them swim right next to the glass. Also at the zoo they have some gorgeous painted zoo animals all over the zoo. After seeing the animals we found a great shade tree and ate our lunch and then proceeded to have some fun on the park equipment.
