Last night we took the kids to the Mallards game. It was a hot one but a great time! We got there early and the kids were watching the pitchers warm up right next to where we were sitting. One of the pitchers, John Hamilton who plays for UNC - Charlottte came up and started talking to the kids and told Ajay that he would bring him a ball. He kept to his word and walked back to us and personally handed him a ball. What a nice young man! Hayleigh also made out by getting a foul ball throwen to her by Derek Fisher who plays for Virginia. We tried staying to the end to get the gentlemans autographs on each of the balls but since it was 10:15 and the game was only in the top of the 8th with a score of 9-8 (Mallards losing) we figured we will try and come to another game for the autographs. Saw this morning too that the Mallards ended up losing 11-8. The kids were great and it was a fun family outing.
