New Friends

Our neighbors had their neice and nephew over who asked Hayleigh to come over and look at the toads they caught. Long story short we watched Hayleigh run back to our garage and got a small red bucket. A few minutes later we see her walking back talking to the toads that she has in her bucket....."it's okay, go ahead and jump". A couple seconds later she is screaming bloody murder in our garage and Daddy is chasing after 2 toads in our garage! Needless to say we put the toads in a taller bucket and let them go in our bushes and I think we will stick to having cats!

Cottage Grove Fest

Every year our friends Pete and DeeDee have a pool party to celebrate Cottage Grove Fest. This year was a great day for swimming. We all had such a great time. Hayleigh swam by herself, Ajay couldn't get enough of jumping in the pool, and Daddy got to work on evening out that City tank top tan!

Wisconsin or Maui?

This is the prettiest sky I have ever seen since living my whole life in Wisconsin. I kind of felt like I was watching a sunset sitting on the beach in Maui but actually this is the view from our front window and the trees kind of give it away! Still very amazing!

Feeding the ducks

The kids and I took a road trip up to Lodi to feed the ducks. The weather was great, sun was out, and to my surprise no ducks!! We walked down to the stream anyway and 2 ducks came swimming down by us. The kids had a great time throwing out corn to them.
