First Snow of the Season

We got our first snow fall last Friday night into Saturday. We officially got 3 inches. The kids got outside with Dad to help shovel before he had to leave and work 13 hours!! Great! Welcome back winter!

Visit with Santa

Last Friday night we all went to Grandma's work Christmas party where a special visitor came and surprised all the kids. Santa called up each child and talked with them and gave them each a special present. Hayleigh came all prepared with her letter to Santa written. They both went over the letter and she can't wait to see what Santa will bring her off her list.

Wizard of Oz

Does this remind you of anything.......The wicked witch of the East? One night the kids where playing hide and go seek and they kept hiding under the big pillow. I couldn't help but laugh everytime Ajay would hide cause as you can see the only thing sticking out was his red feet!

Bye Bye Crib Hello Big Boy Bed

On Sunday Gregg put together the toddler bed that we had for Ajay. He took his nap in it and stayed in bed all night long. He is all excited about his big boy bed and thinks he is pretty cool in it!

Happy Halloween

Snow White and Buzzlight Year would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. We again, joined by Grandma this year went over to my cousin Toni's house to trick or treat with all of the kids friends. They all had a great time! Hayleigh was off and running from house to house with her friends and Ajay brought up the rear. He was so much fun to watch this year. He went up to every house to get candy and sometimes it was hard to get him to leave the house. If the house had a dog he wouldn't even make a sign of wanting to leave. Then it turned into Ajay looking into everyone's door. All in all the kids made out great!!

Carving Pumpkins

This year we had the kids pick out their own pumpkins and the kids and daddy carved them up on Halloween day. Hayleigh had fun scooping out the seeds and guts out of the pumpkin. She still thinks scooping one seed out at a time is a great thing. So I had to show her how to reach in with her hand and pull the guts out! Ajay had fun scooping the guts out with a spoon and when we got him to reach into the pumpkin with his hand he gave us a very disgusted look and wouldn't do it again.

Pumpkin Patch

We did our annual pumpkin patch trip just this past Saturday. It was the coldest days of October but that would be my fault. Hayleigh's school was going on a pumpkin patch field trip just this past Thursday and low and behold it was only a high in the 30's. So I whimped out and didn't take the kids to the pumpkin patch. So we made a family trip and the kids had a great time picking out their own pumpkins and wheeling them around in the wagons. If we would have stayed for some time Ajay would have picked up every pumpkin for us to bring home.

Beleaf it or not....

One tree with such tiny leaves could produce such a great big pile! The kids especially Hayleigh had a great time jumping in the pile. We didn't have such a great time bagging them all up!

Two special people share one special day. Can't believe our baby girl is 5 years old already! We had a great day of celebration with family! Happy 10-10-10 Birthday Gregg and Hayleigh we love you both very much!

Swimming at Grandpa Ducks house

When we weren't cruising, Walt Disney Worlding, or beaching we were hanging out at Grandpa Duck and Grammie Goose's house swimming. They have a great in ground pool that is screened in so we don't have to worry about any bugs. We had such a great time cooling off whenever we wanted to. Hayleigh is turning into the little swimmer. She was swimming and jumping in the pool all by herself. Ajay also doesn't doesn't have any fears. He was having fun jumping in the pool and hanging onto the edge of the pool and walking around the pool. We miss and love you all!

Pine Island Beach

On Friday Sept. 24 we all went to the ocean to swim. The water was so warm it was like swimming in a hot tub! The kids had a great time swimming in the ocean. Hayleigh even held a tiny crab in a shell in her hand, while I and Aunt Cee-Cee had a flat fish swim under our bare foot not a great feeling!

Walt Disney World

On Wed., Sept. 22 while in Florida we took Hayleigh to Disney World. She was all excited the moment she woke up! Once there we rode on Big Thunder Mountain Railway, Splash Mountain (which plunges 5 stories), animal cruise, Dumbo, Aladian's magic carpet, Buzz Lightyear, and Aunt Cee-Cee got us really dizzy on the Mad Hatter Teacups! Those are just a few of the rides we did. Hayleigh was lucky to meet Arial from the Little Mermaid and of course we couldn't leave Disney without meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Hayleigh was such a trooper our day started out at 7:30 am and she made it all the way through the Electrical Light Parade at 9 pm. She definately enjoyed her first trip to Disney World.

6th Anniversary in Cozumel Mexico

We got to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary in Cozumel Mexico! Our ship docked on Sat., Sept. 18 at 8 am. We dropped the kids off at Camp Carnival and went out and explored Cozumel. Very hot and lot of shops to look at. We stopped at Fat Tuesday's and had a 190 octain drink which was very good, had lunch at a Mexican restaurant where my hubby surprised me with a anniversary cake and flowers, and then off to more shopping. The kids got some Mexican guitars and maracas.

Carnival Inspiration Cruise

Our cruise excursion has come and gone. It couldn't have been a greater time. Awesome weather, company, and memories. As they say on the ship...."All for fun and fun for all".
