Noah's Ark

Bapa (a.k.a. Gregg's dad) got us tickets to Noah's Ark so with a weekend open we loaded up the kids and a cooler and headed to the Dells on Sat. 8-25.  It was a great day for an outdoor waterpark!  We did many tube rides and so many waterslides.  It was a great fun family outing!

Little Amerikka

As summer is winding down we are trying to squeeze in a few more fun summer activities. So on Tuesday, Aug. 21 we went to Little Amerikka with the Connor and Bautz families.  The kiddo's had a blast along with myself.  Ajay loved the bumper cars and Hayleigh loved "it all".  My favorite was the Tilt-a-Whirl....boy we got our car a spinning! The kids lastest the whole 6 hours of riding rides and we were all in bed early that night!

Camping at Governer Dodge

We had a great weekend camping with the Connor and Brackman families.  Couldn't have asked for any better and comfortable weather we were actually chilly.  We all commented that we couldn't believe it was only 2 weeks ago we camped and we were sweating buckets! We played many outdoor games, went to the beach, kids rode their bikes, and we sat down as a family and played UNO Friday morning in the camper waiting till everyone else woke up.  Here are a few pictures....Hayleigh got the short end of the stick when it came to pictures.....everytime I wanted to take a picture of her our camera did some weird things.  Again some great family memories to add to my collection!

Camping at Devil's Lake

The week of August 3rd through the 5th we camped at Devil's Lake with the Conner's and Potter's.  It was really hot and sticky but we enjoyed a great cool down swimming in Devil's Lake.  Ajay was intrigued by the bid green caterpiller trying to climb the fire pit.  So we got a stick and moved him over to the woods.  We got some rain on Sat. afternoon and that brought some much relief in the temperature's for Sat. night and Sunday morning.  Having the cooler temps made it much more bareable to roast marshmellows!  The guys did some hiking Sunday morning while the kids enjoyed playing at the park.

Fun Friday

It isn't to often I get to enjoy a Friday off from work so with having last Friday off the kids and I had a fun full Friday planned.  We first enjoyed a nice long walk with the dog down to Hayleigh's school where they played on the equipment and I played fetch with Marley, then it was off to the Blooming Butterflies at Olbrich Gardens, we then heading over to Pizza Hut to have the buffet for lunch, and finally we stopped at Shopko so the kids could pick out new back packs for school.  Just some more great cherished memories I can add to my collection!

Brewer Game

Gregg and I enjoyed a day at Miller Park Wednesday, August 1 with my work.  We had 16 total who enjoyed tailgating and the game.  It was a hot one, but we couldn't pass up sitting only 20 rows up from the field!  The Brewers put on a GREAT game winning 13-4!
